Well I am very, very surprised that I loved prom.
7 days before prom, I was like sleeping as late as 2 AM just finishing layouts for certificates, meal stubs, judging sheets and all those stuff. I was stressed for the whole week so I never really expected to enjoy prom since I thought I'll look like "haggard". Well, first is that I never expected that I would be very, very much satisfied with the way they did my hair, make-up, my gown, EVERYTHING! I never looked so gorgeous before. Getting all-dolled up was one big dream come true. Many "firsts" happened that day. It was my first time to have my eyebrows shaved, my first time to slow dance, my first time to actually make "rampa" now that I'm a teenager, my first time to be that gorgeous and many other things! So I had my hair and make-up done at around 4.30 PM. After the hair and make-up thing I went inside Tita Luchi's house to wear my gown. Then had some pictorial there in their house. I was supposed to go to Francis' first but then I was already running late. They had finished me up at around 6.00 so I went straight to Leisure. There I saw Arra and my other friends in our table. I was so delighted to see them all-glammed up! So the program started and it actually went well. Good thing I didn't trip during the Grand Entrance and our Intermission Number. Speaking of our Intermission number, I started loving my gown much, much more. It was flying, I guess. :) When I was having my prom picture taken my cheeks were actually shaking! I'm really very nervous. I was worried that my face would look oily or the one they call sabog! I had six shots I guess and I totally loved my poses! ;P When I was choosing what pictures to develop, the Masters of Ceremony were announcing the Top 8 finalists for Ms. Junior. I was glad to see that most of my friends were called. When the last number was about to be called, I wished that I be one of the finalists. It's part of my so-called fairytale prom dreams to become a finalist. I was really shocked that my number(23) was called last! My heart actually JUMPED! Haha! Being a finalist really made my night. Since I knew that this is my shining moment I walked with all of my poise! I started applying what I have learned during my workshop. I was like making my greatest rampa!
Surprises kept on flowing that night. I was like floating! Then one of the things that really shocked me is that someone actually asked me to dance! It was my first dance. And I was really shocked that he wasn't a junior. He's actually a senior! I was really shocked and it never entered my mind that he would be asking me to dance! Then I didn't sit down yet after that dance because two more seniors actually asked me to dance! Haha! TRUST partymates! Yay! Then I just went partying! It was totally and super fun!
Prom night was actually a BLAST! Whew!
